An exploration of the Hive Mind- part 3; a year million concept. It is suggested that over the coming centuries humans will merge into one Hive Mind, releasing ourselves from the self and becoming one huge intellect. Thoughts, memory and the individual as we understand them today, will be redefined.
A response to the #MAGA mentality of one Donald Trumpington. Covfefe was a meaningless word first coined by Trump- it has come to stand for all craziness of the current world situation- including the nuclear war mongering, global warming denying idiot in chief… What!? Hence this piece doesn’t make sense and it ‘s often out of step, but it ends on a hopeful counterpoint where all of the layers come together…
Hershel’s Mirrors transformed telescopes enabling him to map the Milky Way and creating the most accurate map of the then known universe. This piece reflects on the vast cosmos, that we now know to be infinite.
P’lonium Lifetrip is the music of Jeremy J Walters. British borne, I now live in Auckland New Zealand. Writing music has been my passion for over 25 years. Armed with a good sequencer and synths I have always enjoyed tapping away and creating new sounds.
In 1989, I created Earth Movements, and in 1991 The Books of Life, two collections of ambient pieces heavily influenced by Vangelis and Jean-Michel Jarre. Unfortunately, the cassette recordings of these pieces are too corrupted to publish.
After a seven year hiatus between 1998 and 2002 I created a collection of pieces for string quartet. Some of this work is available on: soundcloud.
2002- today: I have been steadily writing away creating new pieces. Most of which are also available on: soundcloud. Over the last two years I have been able to devote much more time and energy to my music.
Currently, I am using Steinbergs’ Cubase LE AI Elements 9. A fantastic piece of home studio software that comes with superb Synths. I started out on Steinberg Pro12, a on an Attari in 1998, but switched to Cakewalk Sonar Home Studio in the 2000s, it was a great low cost and flexible home studio software. However, with new upgrades making older compositions obsolete, I turned back to Steinberg in 2014.
