A short musical exploration of the poor state of mental health in the ‘developed’ world at the moment. It could be caused by pollution or other environmental factors, or internal factors like inflammation, diet and lifestyle, or a mixture of these.
This piece is a little self-indulgent at 6mins, but I have tried to keep it fresh and innocent.
It may be a little difficult on the ears in places but: like Rachmaninov (whose work was regarded by some during his life time simply as over blown themes accompanied by arpeggios), I believe in musical textures, and will push my creativity and synthesizers as hard as possible to achieve this. I also believe in minimalism and spend a lot of time editing back extraneous flab to attain the effect that I want.
A pure electronica ditty that I put together as I explored some of the features of Cubase… a bit of a departure from my more recent stuff! but then a change is as good as a rest!
